10 Ways (to get along well with you.)

10 Ways (to get along well with you.) is the second full-length album by MESSNINGEN, a concept work that confronts the struggles of living with depression. Each track is named after a medication, reflecting both the personal and universal aspects of coping, healing, and surviving.

The album explores a wide sonic spectrum, moving from harsh noise and distorted textures to fragile moments of silence and subtle ambience. In addition to field recordings and electronic noise, the work also incorporates instruments such as piano and guitar—adding a raw, human touch that contrasts with the mechanical chaos. The result is an unsettling yet strangely intimate soundscape.

Where the debut album OMOIDEOVER reassembled memories through noise and ambience, 10 Ways dives deeper into the confrontation with illness—seeking coexistence rather than escape. The album stands as an unflinching portrait of vulnerability, chaos, and resilience.

OMOIDEOVER

This album, OMOIDEOVER, is dedicated to my late beloved cat, Kotaro.
During the days we shared, I composed many tracks that remained unfinished.
After his passing, I completed them, sealing into this album both our memories and a final offering.
It is a farewell, a requiem, and also my own resolution and starting point.
